I woke up to an announcement on the news stating that a murder happened on the I-10 near the Elysian Fields exit. So that meant going my usual route to campus will be a bit stressful and little to none chance of getting there on time.
So I decided to go through the city through the Vieux Carre and then onto Elysian Fields. I turned on the N. Peters as usual and made my way down to Poydras. Well, before I can even cross Poydras, I (and a bunch of other people) had to wait for a large truck to unload into a restuarant (I think or maybe hotel). After he unloaded his, um, cargo, the lane I was in was safe to pass and the truck driver had let us pass. Well I was going to keep traffic flowing but first, I let a beer truck and the car in front of it pass. Then I was going because I wanted to make sure I get to class on time. However, this taxi driver was shaking his finger at me with a slight smirk on his face while shaking his head also, in other words, he thinks he has the right to go first. So I let him go thinking he needed to be somewhere in the French Quarter on time. That was not the case since after he passed me, he parked right there on the corner.
Safe and sound, I crossed Poydras and finally get into the french quarter. I'm on decatur street at the traffic light next to Jax Brewery. In the lane next to me, a silver PT Cruiser was hit in the back by a red truck. The guy who drove the red truck said "whoa!" almost in a sarcastic tone and didn't even get out of his truck. The guy in the PT Cruiser did.
Ironically, I got to class on time and the ride back home was a teeny bit better.

Ugh! I have my english proficiency exam tomorrow. My essay writing has improved over the semester. However, I'm nervous that the topic I'm gonna right about will not stay organized and focus. The topic I'm choosing is something that I can easily write 3-4 pages about it. Well whatever happens, I hope my challenge folder will help me move on to the next English composition class.

髪がかりis one the best japanese movies I've seen so far. Kazuki did very good acting and his character is hilarious! I'm still laughing from all his crazy antics. His character's story was second. The first one is about Maho Nonami's character. This is my first time seeing her act and I enjoyed both her and her character. The third story was really cute. Mao Miyaji, whose character is focused on in the third story, is also a new actress for me. Natsuri Mari's character, who is the hair stylist, gave a surprising twist at the end.
All in all, this movie is great and really can show what a new hair cut can do!
